It’s Regatta weekend in Madison!
One of Madison’s most loved weekends of the year is here, and our riverfront is ready for a full weekend of racing, music, food, fireworks, and hometown fun.
The Madison Regatta returns July 3–5, bringing hydroplane racing to the Ohio River, along with the Roostertail Music Festival riverfront entertainment, family activities, and so much more.
Whether you’re coming for the boats, the music, the parade, the food, or just the energy of downtown Madison during one of our biggest weekends of the year, we hope you’ll make time to shop local, eat local, and enjoy everything our Main Street community has to offer.
Welcome to Madison, Regatta fans. We’re so glad you’re here!

Thanks, Lindsay!
It is with both gratitude and sadness that we announce that our Program Manager, Lindsay, will be leaving Madison Main Street Program after more than two years of dedicated service to our organization and community. Her last day will be on June 26th.
While we are excited for Lindsay as she begins a new chapter in her career here in Madison, we will greatly miss the passion, professionalism, and commitment she has brought to the Madison Main Street Program every day.
Over the past several months, Lindsay has gone above and beyond, taking on significant additional responsibilities following the departure of our Executive Director. Through it all, she remained focused, dependable, and committed to serving our downtown businesses, organization, and community with excellence.
Lindsay's thoughtfulness, dedication to our local business owners, and strong work ethic have left a lasting impact. Her exceptional marketing talents have helped strengthen our outreach efforts, from creating our weekly newsletter and sharing valuable information with businesses and followers to promoting the many programs and events that make our downtown thrive.
She has also continually invested in her own professional growth through Leadership Jefferson County and has been instrumental in supporting Main Street's small business workshops, including recording and providing workshop videos so attendees could continue learning and benefiting from the sessions.
Lindsay's contributions to Madison Main Street Program have been immeasurable, and her presence will be deeply missed. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done for our organization and our downtown community.
Please join us in thanking Lindsay for her hard work, dedication, and service, and in wishing her continued success in her new position. We know she will accomplish great things, and we are fortunate to have had her as part of the Madison Main Street Program family.
Thank you, Lindsay. You will be missed.

Please see the shared post below from the City of Madison IN - City Hall in regards to last night's storms.
UPDATE: Power has been restored to City Hall and we will reopen at 1 PM.
Due to the ongoing power outage affecting downtown, City Hall, the Brown Gym, and the Senior Center are currently closed. These facilities will reopen as soon as power is restored and services return to normal.
Essential services continue to be provided, and city crews are actively clearing debris and downed trees throughout the area. Please give crews plenty of space to work safely.
If you need shelter, the Boys & Girls Club and the Salvation Army are open and available to assist residents.
We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
