A question we get from almost every homeowner before their project starts: what happens if it rains? ☔
The short answer is on these slides. The longer answer is that this is one of the things that separates a contractor who respects your home from one who just wants to get the job done.
Rushing an exterior installation in wet conditions is not just inconvenient. It compromises the materials, the adhesion, and in some cases the warranty. We would rather make one phone call and reschedule than cut corners on the day your home needs us most.
You hear from us first. You go straight to the front of the line. No shortcuts, no surprises.

Missing granules on your shingles? That is not just wear and tear. It is a ticking clock.
🚫 Myth: Missing granules just means your roof looks a little worn.
✅ Fact: Granules are the only barrier between your asphalt shingles and the sun. Once they are gone, the deterioration that follows is not gradual. It accelerates.
What is actually happening:
➡️ Granules block UV radiation from breaking down the asphalt beneath. No granules, no protection.
➡️ Exposed asphalt dries out and cracks. In Wisconsin freeze/thaw cycles, that brittleness means shingles become far more vulnerable to wind and ice damage.
➡️ Granule loss is not even. It concentrates around valleys, penetrations, and south-facing slopes that take the most sun.
➡️ Check your gutters after rain. Light granule buildup is normal. Heavy, consistent accumulation is your roof asking for a professional opinion.
➡️Once the asphalt mat is exposed and degraded, patching is not an option. The roof needs to be replaced, and the window to act shrinks fast.
Do not wait for a leak to confirm what your gutters are already showing you
