Designing a visual identity for a business that has an inspiring mission and a unique vision is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. You’re able to see first hand the blood, sweat and tears the owner has put into their business, and being trusted to convey their story through their brand’s visuals is something I will never take lightly. ⁣

The Ninth House has been one of those projects that truly intrigued me from the get-go. From understanding exactly what a “modern metaphysical boutique” actually entailed, to learning about all of the unique workshops they offer as part of their mission to cultivate community and create a space for learning and exploration that feels safe and comfortable for vulnerability, asking questions, and trying new things.⁣

And a learning curve for me - discovering that “magic, witchy vibes” doesn’t necessarily mean dark and spooky (which is actually a stereotype in her industry that she wants to remedy). In this case, a light modern vibe was needed to convey “a light-worker, spiritual, open to all paths kind of place”. ⁣
