Join us as we learn to add a small embroidery motif to either a knitted piece, e.g., scarf, blanket, mitten, or to a large gauge swatch. The focus of the three hour session is preparing your garment/swatch, choosing embroidery materials, using water soluble fabric for design transfer, learning various stitches - lazy daisy, split stitch, straight stitch, french knot, and duplicate stitching.

This is a techniques class for all, not just knitters.

The designer touch is all about embellishments. Making unique pieces is already what we do as knitters. Now, learn to take your project to the next level by adding detail beyond the written pattern. Express yourself.

Want to knit together tomorrow Saturday June 13? The shop will be open for Knit in Public Day. The open knit/crochet will be from noon-3. We'll have tables inside and the back porch is open if weather permits.

Eagle eyes spotted this wonder in a sunflower, golden color complimented by a pollinator zipper pull and ribbon finishes at the collar.
