For nonprofits how you engage is just as important as what you offer. This breakout session led by speaker and mental health advocate Qiana Holmes explores culturally relevant strategies to help nonprofits listen better, build trust, and co-create programs with the communities they serve. Participants will leave with tools to tailor outreach, messaging, and services that reflect their audience’s values and lived experiences.

Check out this session and more next Friday, November 7th at Madison Nonprofit Day!

Four weeks from today we'll be tackling the topic of transforming leadership in nonprofits. As the ways in which nonprofits show up and serve continue to evolve, so does how we design the organizational structure to meet the needs of our communities. In a playful panel session hosted by Gregg Potter, the Executive Director of The International Institute on Collaboration, we'll learn from leaders at Rooted and Madison Reading Project, two local nonprofits that employ a Co-Executive Director model about how they share responsibilities, amplify one another's super powers, and approach new obstacles creatively.
