Happy Chicago Climate Week, and hello from Aspen Ideas: Climate! 👋

Our team is busy this week, enjoying some important, stimulating conversations about climate solutions just minutes (via public transit!) from our Chicago office.

Yesterday, we attended roundtables with our industry peers and heard from several speakers at the The University of Chicago Opening Assembly session on topics such as energy security, global markets, and the path to a clean energy transition.

We're looking forward to more insightful connections as the week unfolds!

It's been a busy month for Slipstream Director of Engineering Joe Zhou!

After attending the annual ASHRAE conference a couple of weeks ago, Joe and Slipstream Senior Engineer Robert Kline visited Koch Foods of Franklin Park, IL as part of a ComEd-sponsored Industrial Advanced Refrigeration Controls field study. The team toured the facility, reviewed industrial refrigeration operations, and collected field data, including compressor power verification.

Last week, Slipstream Director of Engineering Joe Zhou attended the ASHRAE Annual Conference in Austin, TX, where he chaired the SGPC 36 main meeting—guiding the national “High Performance Sequences of Operation for HVAC Systems” guideline—and participated in TC 7.5 Smart Building Systems as Vice Chair and incoming Chair.
