Bringing Hope Home

When this BHH Family was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, life changed in ways she never expected. Unable to continue working during treatment, she was suddenly faced with the loss of both her income and her independence, while waiting months for disability benefits to be approved.

With rent and everyday expenses continuing to come due, the financial burden quickly became overwhelming.

Through our Light of Hope Family Program, Bringing Hope Home was able to provide rent assistance and grocery gift cards, helping ease some of that burden during an incredibly difficult season.

She shared, "Light of Hope has helped me pay my rent for the month of May. Since starting treatment I haven't been able to continue working. I really appreciate their help."

She also told us that Bringing Hope Home "reduced my stress level," and that knowing support was available made this difficult chapter a little easier to navigate.
