Dear 3 Chimps,
The shirts came in just in tome for our Battle of the Books competition. 23 five-person teams of fifth graders all read the same 10 books over four months, and competed in a battle of knowledge about them. Our team was The Candy Bombers, which was one of the books, and was about a WWII pilot who dropped parachutes of candy to children in Berlin during the Berlin Airlift.
We won first place! Everyone loved the shirts! Got lots of compliments on them!
