The office in Reston Station, a rapidly growing area for top tech, defense and service companies, includes 650 square feet of Armourcoat Armuralia expertly installed by the craftsmen at Senza Finé.

The design of the 85,000 square foot facility was conceived by IA Interiors Architects, with a playful touch - the office games room features retro Space Invader wall art with a background of seamless hand-applied polished plaster in a light gray color. Armuralia is a superfine, mid-sheen polished plaster with subtle linear burring created by the hand of the applicator. Natural tonal variation is part of the inherent beauty of this finish, enhancing the feeling of depth and bringing the surface to life.

The new $200 million General Assembly Building in downtown Richmond carefully preserves local historic, 19th-century facades with new construction to provide offices, committee and public meeting rooms for the State Senate, House of Delegates and their legislative staff. A double-height elliptical lobby in the heart of the building is the stunning backdrop for a luxurious polished plaster finish by Manassas-based Senza Finé.

As part of the interior design by Glavé & Holmes, over 2,500 square feet of Armourcoat Spatulata polished plaster color-matched to natural marble, was hand-applied as panels and onto curved wall surfaces. Spatulata is superfine marble stucco paste developed from traditional materials, trowel applied in numerous fine layers by skilled applicators. The resulting highly polished decorative surface adds a touch of luxury to interior spaces.
