The longest part of winter has passed, and although it may still snow, those croci will be peeking out of that snow pretty soon! Today was a beautiful day in the low 50's and sun. You can't beat meteorological spring for a visit to southern Vermont. There's snow on the ski mountains and all kinds of activities down here including local and outlet shopping, perusing the Northshire Bookstore, eating in any of the many restaurants and cafés nearby (all within a short drive), hiking and more. And while in the area, the best place to stay is the Manchester View, where the name says it all: the most amazing views of the Green and Taconic Mountains plus comfortable accommodations at competitive rates, complimentary Continental breakfast with in-house fresh baked muffins, free parking, friendly staff, and close to everyting! Give us a call at 802-362-2739 or check out our website at manchesterview.com.

S-NO-W KIDDING! We've been inundated with the fluffy white stuff. Now's the time to visit for excellent downhill and cross-country skiing. And, for indoor fun, give ice skating a twirl at the Riley Rink, and visit a new place in town called 'Pastime Pinball' with pinball machines from the 1950's to 2018, and a snack bar with Flippin' Good Food! Here's the link: pastimepinball.com/
Whatever you choose to do, there's still some availability for tomorrow here at the Manchester View, as well as for weekday stays. Check out our website or give us a call at 802-362-2739.
