I don’t own a home.
You don’t have to own a mansion or even a tiny home, you just need to have the space for bringing in a child into your home. There are many foster parents who live in apartments, with in-laws or aging parents. Fostering looks as different as each family does. As with all potential foster parents you will go through a home study process, but remember, owning a home isn’t a requirement.
You can make a difference in the life of a child by becoming a foster parent!

What if I am single?
Yes, you can foster! Fostering does not require a two-parent home, but it does require patience, compassion and a loving and safe environment. There are many single foster parents all across the globe. Regardless of marital status, all potential foster parents go through the state-mandated process of becoming a licensed foster parent.
