Both attending AI Prince Tech as HS Juniors, took advantage of our SPLIT Training Option. The split training option allows HS Juniors to attend Boot camp (10 weeks) during the summer time after JR year, come back for their senior year, and complete their job training summer after HS Graduation. Connecticut approved Comparative Certification for MP’s⁣
⁣
What does this mean? ⁣
⁣
“Connecticut Police Officers Standards and Training Council (POST) has approved a comparative certification for Military Police. Is is similar to if a police officer from another state were to come to CT and was looking to become law enforcement in this state. The MP is still required to go through the hiring process, but this program allows departments an alternative to sending MP’s through the academy. The program will allow people to complete training requirements at the discretion of the hiring agency and waived academy requirement.”⁣

In other words- Enlist in CT Army National Guard as an MP, complete Basic Combat Training and AIT (JOB training), come back to CT and have the equivalence of academy in your tool box. Much easier way to become a law enforcement officer. 👍🏼⁣
