Manchester PD News Release Officer Involved Shooting Please see the attached News Release regarding an officer-involved shooting.

Due to the forecasted extreme heat, the Chief Berry PAL 3-on-3 Basketball scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026 has been canceled. The safety of our players, volunteers, and staff is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and hope everyone stays safe and cool during the heat.

The PAL 3 on 3 basketball series is just starting to heat up this summer! Week #1 is in the books and we are getting pumped for Week #2 this Friday! Here are a few shots from last week.

Any Manchester youth ages 5 to 18 can participate with a form signed by a parent/guardian. Players are provided with a jersey and a free slice of 🍕 after the games! No need to sign up in advance, you can come on Friday and sign up on the spot!

See you on the courts at Charter Oak Park this Friday at 5:00 PM! 🏀

🚨Heroes in Training!🚨

We had an amazing time visiting the Saint James School - Manchester, Connecticut summer program yesterday! 🌞 Officer Fullana and K9 Dakota were thrilled to hang out with some incredible future leaders. Dakota loved showing off his skills, making new friends, and getting plenty of belly rubs. 🐾

Thank you to the staff and students at St. James for welcoming us. The future of our community looks very bright with these "Heroes in Training" on the job! 💪🚓🐕‍🦺
