I was just told I’m being sprung from this place, and I’m pretty excited about it! Not only because I’ll finally find my forever family, but because… look who they named me after: Elphaba.

Now listen. At my young age (almost 6 months old), I do enjoy snuggling up for a good movie like Wicked. But really? Why wasn’t I named Glinda—or something that better highlights my adorable, playful, snuggly personality?

I am not green. I am a beautiful brindle mixed-breed young lady who’s as dainty as she is smiley (just look at my photo session!). And most importantly, I am definitely not the Wicked Witch.

So, until further notice, I’m going by Ella.
