🍑 Announcement #2 of 3 this weekend is here! ⬇️

For many years, the Manchester Peach Festival has been a special event that brings our community together—and our first responders are a huge part of that community spirit. ❤️🚒🚔🚑

Returning this year is our Touch-A-Truck area, where attendees can check out apparatus from the Manchester Fire Department, Manchester Police Department, and the Ambulance Service of Manchester!

It’s also a great opportunity to meet and talk with the Firefighter/Paramedics, Police Officers, and EMTs who protect and serve our community every day. ❤️

The Manchester Fire Department Fire Marshal’s Division will also be joining us with a very cool educational opportunity to be announced soon! 👀🙂

We have even more to announce about ways to interact with Manchester’s first responders at the 75th Manchester Peach Festival, along with many other activities coming to this year’s Peach Fest!

🚨 We know, we know… we missed the last two Friday 75th Manchester Peach Festival Announcements! 😅

But don’t worry—we’re making up for it with THREE announcements this weekend, starting today! 👀🍑

As we celebrate 75 years of peachy history, one of our goals is to honor and remember the roots of this beloved community tradition. Here’s one of the ways we plan to do just that! ⬇️❤️

We’re excited to welcome the Manchester Historical Society, along with our North End Exhibit team, to this year’s festival! They’ll be bringing peachy artifacts, stories, local history, and more to help showcase the rich heritage behind this special event.

We are also honored to have the former Manchester Fire Department 8th Utilities District Engine 2—a 1948 American LaFrance fire engine—joining us for the celebration! 🚒

This historic engine served the community until 1982 before becoming a preserved piece of local history. After being sold to a private owner, it was lovingly restored and continues to be exceptionally maintained. As an important part of North End fire service history, it will be on display for everyone to view at the Manchester Peach Festival, a rare opportunity! 🙂

🍑 Fun Fact: The engine is 78 years old—that’s 3 years older than the Peach Festival itself!

It’s Friday and we have another 75th Manchester Peach Festival Announcement! 🍑⬇️

On top of our locally famous Peach Shortcake, the staple of the Manchester Peach Festival, we have a lineup of food and drink vendors you will not want to miss. Are you ready?!?! 🌭😋

Here’s the lineup, with a majority of our vendors helping us fundraise by donating a portion of their sales towards our nonprofit mission during the event!!! ❤️⬇️

Thomas' Smokey Pit Stop will be bringing the barbecue. Local and family owned, this is one you are going to have to stop at. We can’t wait for their delicious Pit Bomb Sandwiches! 😋

Warm weather making you feel like it’s time to travel to Maine for some delicious lobster? 🦞 You don’t have too! Cousins Maine Lobster - Hartford & Southern Connecticut will be bringing their ever popular lobster rolls and more. MMMM yummy! 😋

The Manchester Peach Festival has a strong Polish background, between its former 8th Utilities Members and its music choices. And we still do! Yummy Wagon will be bringing its selection of Hot Dogs, Pierogis, Kielbasa, Potato Pancakes, Hamburgers, and more! A blend of Polish-American Deliciousness! 🌭

Can you smell the thin crust and melted cheese from the perfect pizza slice? So can we! Randys Wooster Street Pizza Shop will be joining us again this year as our local pizza stop. Ready to serve its popular slices, we can’t wait for dinner! 🍕

Sometimes we have people that aren’t fans of our delicious Peach Shortcake, or may even be allergic to peaches! But that’s okay! On top of many things to be announced, we have the perfect dessert stop. Faddy’s Donuts & Ice Cream will be joining us with their delicious donuts, ice cream, and kettle corn. We can already smell the kettle corn from here! 🍩🍿

Feeling like a quick snack will be perfect for you? We have one of our favorite community supporters coming back this year! Bob's Jerky For a Cause will be bringing their Manchester Made beef jerky! With tons of flavor and a wide variety of flavors, they are the perfect snack or a great option to take home! 😋

Wow, all that food, we need something to drink! Good thing we have multiple options and a little of everything you could ask for! 🧃🧊🧋⬇️

Returning for the 3rd year in a row, Kona Ice of Manchester is bringing their delicious flavored shaved ice. Perfect for a warm summer day and another delicious option, you’ll want to hop in line early for them! 🧊🍧

Maybe it’s been a long day and you could use a little caffeine, or your just looking for a delicious lemonade to cure your thirst. Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Manchester will be returning! With a variety of flavors, types of coffee, and other delicious beverage options, this is another heavy hitter! We know our dedicated volunteers will be in that line! ☕️❤️

They’ve been making waves in CT, and just added Manchester as one of their homes! Serving fizz with a side of dirty, Get Fizzy CT will be bringing their very popular and delicious Dirty Sodas. Currently stationed at Lowe’s in Manchester, they will be mixing it up with us August 22nd!😋🥤

This one is for the adults! Joining us for the 2nd Year in a row, Connecticut Valley Brewing Company will be joining us to serve some peachy adult beverages. This will be for our 21+ crowd only, will be contained, and a proper ID is required! A perfect pair with our Peach Shortcake for the adults! 🍻😋

We listened to our crowds, and made sure to bring a little of everything to this years 75th Celebration. And you thought this was it for peachy announcements?👀

ITSSSS TIMEEEEE! After months of planning, we are ready to begin announcing all the wonderful parts of the 75th Manchester Peach Festival! Each Friday we will announce more!🍑❤️⬇️

Returning to the stage for the 6th year in the Peach Festival’s 75 year history, Nightshift! Nightshift plays music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s and will make the whole family get up and dance. There’s nothing like live music! 🙂🎶

As we continue to celebrate the Peach Festivals history, here’s a little fun fact about our connection with Nightshift! Kenny Hicks, the band’s leader, was a member of the former 8th Utilities District Fire Department in 1969 under Chief Ted Lingard. The 8th District ran the Peach Festival for 72 years, until its merge in 2023. Now its former volunteers and community members from the Manchester Community Support Group continue its history! ❤️

We have lots to announce as we celebrate the big 75 with our Manchester Community, so stay tuned to our pages! What are you looking forward to this year?!🙂

We just received a 2ND DELIVERY of plants for our Manchester Mothers Day Plant Sale! Fresh from the farm, and already selling fast! ❤️⬇️

We have more Hanging Tomatoes, Hanging Mandeville’s, a variety of hanging plants, and still have some potted plants! 🌺🌸

We also still have our 75th Manchester Peach Festival $6 tickets as well! 🍑
