Another cheese and wine pairing for you this week:

P’tit Basque, a classic sheep’s milk cheese from the French Pyrenees, is inspired by the pastoral cheeses, long made by shepherds in the Basque region. This is a semi firm cheese, offering notes of toasted nuts, sweet cream, and a subtle landline that reflects the richness of sheep’s milk and the slow aging process typical of alpine-style tommes.

Steininger Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé from Austria‘s Kamptal approaches rosé with precision and structure. Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested early to preserve freshness, then vinified in stainless steel to highlight bright, red fruit, crisp, acidity, and a clean mineral edge shaped by the region’s cool climate and loess-driven souls.

this is a really fun pairing that shows off the contrast of the wines.crisp minerality and the cheese’s rounded nuttiness.
