Hi Friends, I have recently begun to work with this organization. Among many things they provide massage therapy at no cost to kiddos undergoing cancer treatment. Touch is essential to all humans, non-clinical touch is especially important when undergoing cancer treatment. Like many organizations they are greatly impacted by cuts to grant programs. Miranda and I are co-teaching a Yin Yang Yoga workshop together January 12th from 1pm to 3pm. We would love to welcome you and support you through a nourishing practice focused on Kidney and Urinary Bladder. The storing of energy in winter and allowing ourselves to become still like water creates an opportunity for deep rest. Kidneys are closely associated with willpower or drive called zhi in Chinese. Zhi as a survival instinct during darker days keeps us going. The adrenal glands are located on the kidneys.
