Design tip from experience: always buy the good lightweight bunk mattress.

Nothing will make you question your decisions faster than trying to change sheets on a typical one later. Your future self will thank you.

Says the girl that’s been crammed in the corner with sheets and nearly fell out of the bunk…..

Kirby does most of the art hanging around here, which means his “day off” usually looks a lot like this. Ladder out, level in hand, me saying “maybe an inch to the left?” at least 14 times.

And yes, those are oven mitts on the ladder so we don’t scuff the walls. Because around here we protect the paint job at all costs.

Tiny detail, big difference.

Don’t forget to consider any soffits or ceiling angles when wallpapering a room. This can go so bad, soooo fast.

This is why having the right wallpaper installer matters so much. A good installer doesn’t just “hang wallpaper.” They think ahead about pattern, placement, sight lines, corners and how the room unfolds as you walk through it. This tiny space needed just as much consideration!

Luckily for us, we have Ryan attached as our personal security blanket when it comes to wallpaper!
