Diana is one of the founders of the Friends of Stark Park, established in 2004. Along with her recently deceased husband, Dick, a prominent history buff in this community, she worked on early efforts to build membership for The Friends of Stark Park and gain recognition within the community for the need for preservation. She helped to obtain the park’s listing as a National Historic Landmark with National Register for Historic Places, helped to raise funds for the restoration of the Stark Family gravesite, and assisted with on-going efforts to shape refurbishment of the park.
In addition to her many activities and hobbies, she is a genealogist, a member of the DAR as well as other organizations focused on historic preservation, and she is very knowledgeable about General Stark. She and Dick were instrumental in the efforts to build the gazebo in Stark Park and to keep it maintained each year. For years, she has kept track of our membership data, chairs the very successful Summer Concert Series, and has proudly taken a stand to protect the historical dignity and reverence for Manchester’s foremost historic landmark. We are grateful for her contribution and will miss her as she moves to Tennessee to be with family.

Please consider joining us as we celebrate Diana!
