Meet our Pet of the Week, Bayah!
Bayah is a 2.5 year old cuddle machine who looks like she wandered straight out of a pasture and into your heart. She’s spotted, she’s adorable, and she fully believes she’s a lap dog… even if your lap disagrees.
She loves bully sticks, bones, sprinting like she’s training for the Olympics, and going to the park to show off her “moo-velous” coat. But her biggest love? Her family, who she clings to like velcro.
Bayah: looks like a Holstein, behaves like royalty, and loves her family like it’s her full-time job with benefits. 🐄

Watch out for imposters! Scammers sometimes pose as trusted organizations, like Social Security, the IRS, or your bank’s fraud department. These imposters will try to trick you into giving them sensitive information or access to your accounts.

If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent us:
🛑 Stop and think before you give them any information,
📵 Don’t respond to or click links in suspicious text messages,
☎️ Hang up and contact us directly at (785) 323-1111 if something seems fishy.

Remember that scammers can spoof phone numbers, so don’t let your guard down simply because the Caller ID matches our phone number.

We won’t ever contact you to ask for:
• Debit or Credit Card Number, PIN, or the card’s 3-digit security code,
• Online Banking Username, Password, or One-Time Passcode,
• Account Number,
• Social Security Number.

We also won’t ask you to download software or give us remote access to your computer.

Your security is our priority, so we do use a third-party provider for advanced debit card fraud protection. They may call or text you from a toll-free number if they detect suspicious transactions on your card. However, if you are ever concerned whether the call is legitimate, hang up and call us directly.

Happy Anniversary, Erin!

Erin is an integral part of our Operations Team. She has worn many hats over the past ten years and excelled in each one. Today, she thrives in her role as an Account Auditor, bringing precision and heart to everything she does. We’re incredibly fortunate to have Erin on our team, and we can’t wait to see what the next decade brings for her. Thanks for all you do for us Erin!

Casual Friday for a Cause update:

We recently presented a check to Sunflower Children's Collective for our first quarter Casual Friday donation. The Sunflower Children’s Collective is comprised of several programs that work to prevent and eliminate child abuse and neglect while reducing their impact on children and families. Want to join us in supporting their work? Visit: https://www.sunflowerchildrenscollective.com/

What is Casual Friday for a Cause? Last year, we launched our Casual Friday program to enable our team to give back to local nonprofits by making a donation in exchange for the option to wear jeans on Friday.

How can Abby Coyne be celebrating 20 years of employment when she just recently reached the age to allow her to rent a car?? Answer: Child labor laws were not in effect in 2006.
Congratulations Abby on 20 years of employment at CFNB!! In the past 20 years, Abby has grown into a valuable leader of the retail and operations area of the bank. Abby’s career began as a volunteer paper shredder in 2001. In 2006, she officially started getting a paycheck working as a part time teller at East Bank. Since that time, she has been involved in all areas of the retail side of the bank. From pulling weeds in the parking lot to working with examiners to keep the bank in compliance with difficult regulations, her experience is vast. In addition to her bank knowledge, Abby would be a strong competitor in any contest to name and recognize the greatest number of bank customers. Abby exemplifies great customer service and helps the bank put relationships first every day. Thank you Abby for a job well done!

💜🐾 Meet Emma Our Pet of the Week! 💜🐾
This pretty gal survived being dumped in the country while heavily pregnant and starving, yet she’s remained the sweetest little lady. She raised seven healthy puppies who are all adopted — now it’s her turn.
At 35–40 lbs, Emma is a petite, happy girl who’s housetrained, crate trained, loves car rides, pup cups, chicken strips, and is a total fetch fanatic. She’s been wonderful around dogs, cats, kids, horses, and farm animals in her foster home.
Emma is heartworm positive, but her treatment is simple and fully covered by PPAWS. It doesn’t affect her ability to live a joyful, active life.
She knows no stranger, flashes a big smile everywhere she goes, and adores attention. After everything she’s overcome, Emma is more than ready for her forever family.
If you’re looking for a resilient, loving companion, Emma is your girl. Please contact Purple Power Animal Welfare Society to fill out an application! https://www.purple-paws.org/pet-adoption-application.html
