This holiday season, our .studios Co-Op actors stepped behind the camera to learn the ins and outs of shooting their own microfilms—including running camera, sound, and lighting. After spending just 20 minutes on a simple script, we improvised our way into 4 Holiday inspired scenes, filmed start to finish in only a couple of hours.

Join us for our next Short Film Lab For Actors!
During this 1-month class, actors explore character and story ideas through a variety of improvisation exercises. Actors are then paired up and use their dramatic improvs as inspiration to co-write their own 2-4 minute short film scripts.
The course culminates with each short film being filmed by the CutAbove team.

Join us for our very first Actor Meetup. 🎭 Each month, CutAbove Studios will host an industry panel discussion and actor workout. Our August Q&A will focus on the benefits and tips & tricks for actors self-producing and creating their own projects. 🎬 The actor workout will consist of a dramatic improv workshop. All attendees will have an opportunity to participate in dramatic improvs; time permitting.
