Happy New Year, party friends!!!! 2023 was an amazing ride, and I'm excited to share a snapshot of most of the events I was able to play a role in. Having the opportunity to play a part in someone's big event is never something I take for granted!

In 2023 I went into the year saying "I just want to do good work" To be vulnerable I must say after surviving 2020, having Cortney purchase C&C and going out to do events solo it was easy to be caught up in the entrepreneur aspect of things. In 2022, I felt like I was getting more concerned about the bottom dollar than the work I was doing, and I didn't like it. The fact is... this gig still needs to pay bills, but it's not life-giving if that is the main thing. In 2023, I challenged myself to keep doing good work at the front of all things, and it proved to be an incredible year.

All year in the middle of chaos, craziness and storms, I just kept telling myself to do good work! And I ended 2023 so proud of the work I did! While I still need to pay bills, one of my favorite rewards is a good review at the end of an event and a couple or client saying, "we couldn't have done it without you!"

In 2024, I will keep pushing to do good work! And keep pushing to make magic and help make memories! I am also going to protect our family priorities and so will have limited wedding weekends available. In fact, I only have a few left open for 2024! Here's to making all the memories this new year, friends, and thanks for always giving love and support!
