Water Service Disruption – Hunters Island and Moehlman Bottoms
Customers in the Hunters Island and Moehlman Bottoms water districts will experience a temporary water shutoff today, Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
During the shutoff, no water will be available for approximately 200 customers in the area while crews complete emergency repairs to a damaged water line. Please see map below.
Street names:
S. Manhattan Ave
Collins Lane
Moehlman Road
Henton Road
Mimosa Lane
Priboth
Estimated Repair Time
Water service is expected to be restored by the end of the day, depending on repair conditions. When repairs are complete, customers in this area will be under a BOIL WATER ADVISORY until further notice. This means all water for drinking and cooking should be boiled for at least one minute before use.
Boil Water Advisory
During a boil water advisory, bring tap water to a rolling boil for one minute to kill any potential bacteria, viruses, and parasites in the water. Use boiled or bottled water for drinking, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and preparing food. Avoid ice makers and, if possible, use disposable plates/utensils.
Updates will be posted at www.rileycountyks.gov/water
