Great afternoon pre-storm. Father Padilla Park in Herington, caught several modest bluegill on the fly rod, then switched to the ultralight with a mepps, immediately had a trout that tossed the hook in its third jump out of the water. Caught a couple more decent ones, a small bass, and another bluegill. Oh, and my hat, which the wind blew into the pond, but I was able to snag it with my lure. Came home to find out I'm expecting...baby bluebirds, that is.
