Youth Coding Dojo MHK
Learning to program one line at a time!
11/09/2023
And that’s a wrap on the first ever Youth Coding Dojo MHK!
Over the last 9 weeks, students learned about topics ranging from the basics of computer programming to data types, variables, lists, functions, loops, conditionals, and much more in Python.
To wrap up, we played a vocab matching game along with a Kahoot to review what we learned, solved the outputs of different code snippets, and dove deeper into previously studied concepts.
I seriously could not have asked for a better group of kids to work with each Sunday over the past 2 months. I had so much fun getting to know everyone and watch them grow and improve since day one.
Thanks to all the students for their hard work and commitment! It has been an absolute joy getting to be your coding instructor!
P.S. Keep a look out for future Youth Coding Dojo opportunities! Hopefully, the program can continue next year with an even bigger group and more advanced programming levels and languages :)
