One year ago today, Jessica Schmeidler transitioned from a student worker in our conservation tree program to a tech team member. In her role, Jessica has helped to conduct many community tree inventories, collected seed for the conservation tree program, monitored bur oak seedlings for a forest health project, learned to safely fell trees with our fire program, and much, much more!

We are grateful for Jessica's positivity when learning new skills, her willingness to assist in every aspect of our organization, and her dedication to conserving natural resources in Kansas!
