A new statue in Westerly celebrates the legacy of Ellison “Tarzan” Brown, who won the Boston Marathon twice 90 years ago.

In 1936, Brown passed the local favorite at mile around mile 21, breaking Johnny Kelly’s heart. Apparently that’s why they still call it Heartbreak Hill.

The manhunt for the gunman in the Brown campus shooting has expanded.
Authorities now say they want to talk with another person seen in the vicinity. They are asking the public for help identifying him, as well as another ‘person of interest’.
The dragnet continues to be a top priority for state and federal law enforcement.
