staged a protest in Newark, NJ outside of where the Purdue Pharmaceutical sentencing and criminal trial took place today. The judge postponed the hearing one week and said they are opening the court to allow the victims to speak.

I had the name of one of our fallen friends, Michael "Mick" Fulham included (you can see his name on the upper right of the blindfold). Mick was a recovery coach and a staunch advocate. He ensured every business around the recovery center we worked at was Narcan trained.

Mick passed of an overdose December 17th, 2023. Those in the recovery community will not forget Mick. He is dearly missed. I am beyond touched to see his name included to continue making a difference and being a voice for the voiceless.
