A.J. Terrell, cornerback for the Falcons, has been practicing yoga asana, alongside his regular training, since he was a rookie football player.
During this season, Terrell suffered his worst injury in his career. While recovering for the past three weeks from his hamstring injury, his yoga practice helped him to stay grounded, and kept his mind at ease.
"Being able to just get away. Mentally, doing stretches, and doing things to help me get back but also, yoga helped with a lot of mental.โ

As he returns back on the field, he brings the mindfulness from his yoga practice with him, to try and avoid such a severe injury again.
