Pretty close to done with the 74 Bronco. I’ll post some more photos and a couple videos I took through the process soon and make an album. This vehicle was restored for a friend from our Church, and he wasn’t happy at all with the wiring of it, and he wanted to put a new steering column in it and move the 3 on the tree to a floor shift.

Coolest part of this is that the customer was given this Bronco as his first high school vehicle, and over the years it sat, he decided to restore it and give it back to his father.

Unfortunately he learned some lessons about the restore process and not getting what he thought he was paying for. I hope that we exceeded his expectations.

Btw this thing is exactly how old I am.

S550 mustangs, passenger side firewall. Fuel system or pulling any other wire through firewall.

Get you a fat step bit, drill it, add a rubber or plastic snap in grommet.

DO NOT use a long drill bit!! You may hit the large harness next to the hole you are drilling.

It’s a lot easier to drill a new hole next to the large grommet, that most people just push over to the side and then run thier wire through, which can become a fire hazard or short out and lose power to something important.

I’ve drilled as many as 3 holes here to pass cables.
