Pack with Purpose is back this summer!

For many years, SJTW has proudly partnered with CROSS Services through their annual Backpacks campaign. Thanks to the generosity of our parish, countless local students have received backpacks filled with essential school supplies, helping families prepare for the school year, and ensuring children have what they need to learn and thrive.

This year, we are collecting supplies for elementary students in grades K–5. We invite you to purchase any of the items from the CROSS Services supply list and place them in the Pack with Purpose bin now through July 31. The bin is located in St. Joe Hall.

Note: Please do not donate full backpacks. CROSS Services has shared packing instructions, and our Pack with Purpose ministry will assemble the backpacks.

Join us for Backpack Packing Night on Monday, August 3 at 6:30 pm in St. Joe Hall!

All are welcome - families, teens, and adults! Come lend a hand as we pack supplies and pray over each backpack, sending students into the new school year with love and support from our SJTW community.

The Lady Knights of Columbus recently completed an Armed Forces Day Project recognizing currently serving military members connected to our parish family. Twelve military members received a care package including a St. Joseph the Worker Holy Card, snacks of all kinds, personal items, pastime activities, a handwritten note from the Lady Knights, and many other items. Personalized, handwritten cards made by our Faith Formation students were also included in each package.

There is a continued need for prayers for the well-being of our service members both here locally and around the world. They help keep us all safe.

Lt. Col. Tim Krystosek, son of parishioners Al & Linda Krystosek,
recently received our care package at Yokota Air Force Base in Japan where he resides with his wife and two children.
