🚨 Changes in the real estate industry this week everyone needs to know…

Due to a recent settlement involving the National Association of Realtors (NAR), there are a few important changes ⬇️

-To view properties, you’ll need to sign a buyer broker agreement with a buyer’s agent up front. This may be an agreement for 1 showing or a long term agreement for the agent to represent you. The document formalizes the relationship and outlines the services they will provide and the commission structure.

*Realtors can/will be heavily fined if we don’t get your signature prior to showing you a home, so be prepared to sign.

-Expect the conversation up front about your options of who pays your buyer's agent fee—whether it's the seller, buyer, or a combination.

We have already implemented the changes on our team & it has been pretty business as usual. Just more conversations with our clients & a few extra documents.
