Ever wonder what it takes to get your evaporator core replaced? Here are some pictures to show you what goes into replacing one. Here we have a 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Had to remove the entire dashboard. After removing it we had to take out the housing for the evaporator core and replace it. The hardest part about this was putting it back with all those connectors and wires. Most would be scratching their heads as what goes where looking at these pictures. But here at CPT auto, we can get it back to how it was even with all that chaos.

A customer brought her Honda Pilot in after visiting two other shops that were stumped by her AC issues. Nobody wants to spend time and money chasing a problem without a solution!

We performed our diagnostic test and identified the culprit: a bad evaporator. She gave us the green light to proceed with the repair, and we are happy to say she’ll be picking up her cold, comfortable ride this evening! ❄️
