I'm working on a class and would love your thoughts.

As Christians, we should have the goal of living with an eternal perspective, recognizing that every person we encounter has a destiny that extends beyond this life. When we begin with this end in mind, we understand that our interactions carry eternal significance. Rather than seeking approval or popularity, our primary goal should be to invest in others in a way that guides them toward an eternal mindset and relationship with God.

It’s tempting to want to reach large groups or employ a "shotgun effect" in sharing this message, but I believe the most profound and lasting impact happens one-on-one. True transformation occurs when we build personal relationships, allowing others to witness how an eternal perspective shapes our actions, choices, and love. It's through these individual connections that people can "catch" the essence of what it means to live with eternity in mind, as they see it demonstrated consistently in our lives.

Scripture reinforces this approach:

2 Timothy 2:2 encourages us to entrust the truths we've learned to reliable people who will be able to teach others. It’s a reminder that multiplying our efforts happens most effectively when we invest in individuals who, in turn, influence others.

Proverbs 27:17 highlights the power of personal relationships: "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." This sharpening process happens best in close, one-on-one interactions.

1 Thessalonians 2:8 shows Paul’s example: "Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well." It’s through sharing life together that the gospel becomes more than words—it becomes tangible and real.

John 13:15 where Jesus says, "I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you," reminds us that leading by example is powerful. People are more likely to adopt what they see consistently lived out.

My goal is to guide as many people as possible into this eternal mindset, helping them grasp that their lives have meaning beyond the present moment. By investing in others personally, we create a ripple effect, allowing them to adopt, internalize, and eventually reproduce this eternal perspective in their own lives.

This one-on-one approach is not only effective but also deeply relational and duplicable. When others see us living out an eternal mindset, they are more inclined to follow suit, making this truth part of their journey and passing it on to others. Together, we can create a chain reaction that brings the hope of eternity into countless lives.

I’m excited to share some wonderful news from last night’s praise and worship and prayer meeting! 🎉🙏

A few months ago, a young man came to our Drive-thru prayer Auburn (DTP) seeking prayer. At that time, he expressed a deep desire to see Jesus as he approached the church, and we were concerned he might be dealing with serious issues. Despite the initial chaos, we continued to pray for him, and his turnaround has been truly remarkable. It was incredible to hear of his baptism at last night’s praise and worship meeting, which followed our DTP event. ✝️💧

Additionally, I’m thrilled to share that someone who has frequently sought prayer for anxiety through DTP recently let us know about their amazing healing. They’ve been anxiety-free since July and felt Jesus’ presence throughout a challenging hospitalization. It’s inspiring to see such a profound change and to witness the impact of prayer and faith. 🙌💖

These stories are a powerful reminder of the hope and transformation that faith can bring. Praise God for His work in these lives! 🌟🙏

I was so inspired by the sermon on Sunday that ended with the Holy Spirit. It’s amazing how He directs our path! Jesse Bradley

Interestingly, on that same morning, a devotional called "The Holy Spirit: Our Perfect Helper" highlighted the importance of being filled with the Spirit. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

This ties into the theme of 28 Days of Hope, emphasizing that we need to be so filled with the Spirit that we naturally overflow and share His presence with others. Ephesians 5:18 encourages us to "be filled with the Spirit."

It’s crucial to communicate authentically with others. We often say "I'm doing great" without explaining why. People need to hear that we’re doing great because the Holy Spirit fills us and our hope is in the Lord. Romans 15:13 says, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

When asked how we’re doing, or when we ask others, it’s an opportunity to share what God is doing in us and to spread the good news of His faithfulness. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Our relationship with God allows us to walk in what He has for us. Let’s communicate His love and faithfulness in Jesus' name!

Blessings to all!
