We had an outage affecting customers on our South tower in Llano starting at about 10pm last night. A switch on the tower locked up, presumably due to the cold. After some work on it remotely this morning we have it working again so service has been restored. Sorry for the interruption, we are keeping a close eye on it.

Otherwise things are going well across the network. Roads are dangerously slick and many major roadways are closed. Please stay home. Our office will remain closed until it is safe for us to return. We will work remotely for the time being.

We are seeing major issues reaching large parts of the internet for about 30 minutes now. Some things work perfectly, others intermittently or not at all. We have verified the issue is upstream of us, likely another major Cloud provider is having issue like has happened a few times recently. We are monitoring the situation and will try to work around the problem as much as we can. Hopefully things are back to normal soon.

Due to PEC power outage, we currently have our Fairland and Painted Horse Trail towers down. PEC estimates restoration by 10:15am. We will monitor for updates and respond accordingly if this worsens.
