As May comes to a close, we’re reflecting with gratitude on National Nurses Week, National Hospital Week, and National Skilled Nursing Care Week — and giving one final round of applause to the healthcare professionals who show up every day to care for our communities in so many meaningful ways. 👏🩺
What better way to wrap up a month of celebration than by sharing our May success story: "More Than a Dream: Veronica Eriksen’s Story".
Veronica’s journey from nurse aide to registered nurse is a powerful reminder of what is possible when perseverance meets the right support. Her story also shows exactly why Workforce Network created PREP, our Pre-Nursing Preparation, Education and Readiness Program!
Stories like Veronica’s remind us that the path to nursing can come with real challenges — but those challenges do not have to become roadblocks. Read Veronica’s full story below. ⬇️ And if you're as inspired as WE ARE, please share!

✨ DID YOU KNOW? ✨
At WNI, workforce development starts long before graduation. 💙
Through our partnership with Marble Falls Mustang ACE and Marble Falls ISD, students recently completed a 16-week “R” Rules curriculum focused on life skills, leadership, career readiness, and community impact. From mock interviews and professional portfolios to service projects and future planning, these students are already building the skills that strengthen our community and future workforce.
Please help us congratulate all of the graduates and give kudos to their instructor, Celice Goad-Olswold for a job well done! WNI is lucky to be part of something so powerful! The future is bright in Marble Falls. 💫
