Have you ever wondered how neurofeedback works? 🧠
This is a 5-year-old boy’s brain during training.
Each line represents a different brainwave:
• White (Delta) – deep sleep/rest mode
• Green (Theta) – daydreaming or “zoned out”
• Blue (Alpha) – calm but not fully focused
For kids who struggle with attention, we often see too much of these slower waves during the day—when the brain should be alert and engaged.
Slide 1 (Session 1):
His brain is mostly in “low gear.” You can barely see the alpha and theta lines clearly.
Slide 2 (After 10 sessions):
Now those lines are visible—his brain is starting to respond, but still spending a lot of time in a distracted state.
Slide 3 (After 20 sessions):
The lines are coming down more. His brain is beginning to spend less time “zoned out.”
Slide 4 (After 30 sessions):
Now his brain is learning to stay more awake, focused, and regulated instead of drifting.
Before: stuck in “idle” during the day
Now: learning how to shift into the right gear when he needs it
That’s neurofeedback.
That’s the brain learning.
