People we need to do better. How can we proclaim black lives matter when we...as people...aren't doing what we need to as elders in our own communities. I'm at an outing supporting the kids football league. Why are the parents playing music on the loud speaker with explicit words inclusive of cursing...body parts...w**d, etc. Nope not the clean version at all. I just saw a group of 3 girls who are less than 17 literally smoking w**d. YUP...I did the Mama D stare until the stopped or at least they walked away from the field. I'm sooo discouraged for our future when their parents obviously missed it somewhere. I mean don't get me wrong...I'm proud to see parents cheering their kids on (especially the dads). But what's the point when you're still showing negative behavior.
