Road Trip - Day 7 - Monument Valley has been on my list for so long, and I couldn't have asked for a better day. You can drive yourself through the valley, but would recommend a high clearance vehicle to see everything. It is a dirt road that can be very uneven in parts. We ended up going with a private Navajo tour guide to take us around so that we didn't have to worry about the road and got to learn more about the place and the people.

Road Trip - Day 6 - Canyonlands is so massive and beautiful - it definitely makes you feel small in comparison. Chris and I took a separate car so we could stay "late" and catch a sunset, finally. Would definitely recommend coming with a 4WD or renting a 4WD vehicle for this park so you can go do some of the offroad trails in the canyons instead of just seeing everything from the top. Next time!

Road Trip - Day 5 - We trekked from Capitol Reef to Moab and met up with Chris's parents to explore Arches together. It was very warm out so early morning and late evening were the best times to explore the park - luckily during summer sunset is at 9:30PM. Crazy!!!
