Captain Jack

Jack is in his final resting place in the blue and tan piece in this picture. I wonder if Moxie knows he is in there. I sure do miss him and I know she does.

It comes with great sadness that we must report that Captain Jack has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday around 4:45pm. He fought hard but his fight has ended. Everyone has been so supportive and interactive and has made this even harder. We want to thank The Promised Land Dachshund Sanctuary for picking us to adopt a Texas dog..there was approximately 1500 applicants for Jack and somehow Connie Eicher picked us. I personally (Dad) want to thank you for allowing me to fill a hole in my heart once our Cocoa had passed. Connie felt/knew something and I will forever be grateful. Jack passed in our arms. We were by his side and knew he was loved. Jack was adored by many people...they didn't even mind when he would accidentally ti**le on their boat because he was so excited. He LOVED his boat rides..barking at squirrels and being held by Dawn. He loved his Sisters and thought it was funny when he would slide in and steal their new toy...only to take it around the corner and rip it to shreds in seconds. He loved his Doritos and cheese. Don't ever open either one if you didn't want an audience. Binkley-Ross funeral home will be cremating him for us so he will forever be by our side. He adorned our house for almost 7 years.....we just wish it could have been 8. Thank you all...Sweet Dreams Jack. We love you!!!!
