PROTECT YOUR EYES/ECLIPSE INFO: A little late for today’s cloudy event but a very good article to review before next year’s big event in our area. Just like 2017, there’s a lot of false information on eye safety being passed around along with plenty of counterfeit solar glasses sold through mass merchandisers that don’t specialize in astronomy, eye care, etc.
2017 eclipse glasses aren't safe for use in 2023, St. Louis Science Center says Buying new eclipse-viewing glasses is always a safer bet because materials in the glasses' filters break down.
