We were honored to es**rt the Ishpeming Girl's Basketball Division 4 State Champions through Chocolay Township tonight. Proud of your hard work and dedication. Congratulations!!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of former Chief Leo Goodwin. Leo was a charter member of the CTFD and played a key role in the formation of our department. Leo served our community as a firefighter from 1966 until 1996. During his 27 years as Fire Chief he led the department through growth and modernization and laid the foundation for where our department is today. Even after retirement he continued to regularly participate in department activities and always had words of encouragement. We miss our brother and will be forever grateful for his service to our community. We send our condolences to Leo's family and friends during this difficult time. Rest easy Leo.
