Doherty Brothers Contracting Inc. personally designed , drew scaled permitted drawings ( no architect ) obtained structural stamped design load for carrying beams with no Structural Engineer sufficient to obtain a building permit . Acted as the General Contractor coordinating / Project Manager to the Landscape / Mason for excavation and hardscape , Roofing Sub-Contractors . All the while with Myself and a Laborer built this from top to bottom every screw and nail . I don't do many of these type projects but it helps to keep costs down not having to use an architect , plus i'm not a young man anymore and everything about this was a challenge physically but i still like to get in there and battle with the hammer 🔨 lol. Not saying I'm the only one that can carry a project in this manner , but I know all General Contractors are not built this way . I'm just from the old school and cut from a different cloth with some of my fellow Builders in the Marshfield area that I grew up emulating - 1% 'ers 💪🏻 🍀 .
