I’m excited to announce that my latest album, Butterflies, Buzzards & Gypsys, is officially released on all platforms!!! Recording my own original tunes and some of my favorite covers with the LEGEND, Billy Cox, bassist of Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys and, later, the Experience, is one of the greatest thrills of my musical career. I mean, this man played WOODSTOCK with Jimi. Absolutely incredible and inspiring to play music with a hero who is not only an amazing bassist, but is also an equally great person, and I’m proud to call him and his wife Brenda my friends. My ol’ buddy Aaron Spraggs killed it on drums and it was such an honor for us to jam with Billy because we used to cruise around listening to Band of Gypsys. 🙌🏼 We recorded at Cinderella and Purple House Studio with the great Casey Wasner engineering, mixing and co-producing with me, and Tommy Wiggins put the final mastering touches on it. Thanks to Earl for introducing me to Blake Armstrong, who is one the top artists in the world of films and music, and who designed this badass album cover.
