Hello SB Friends & Family,

With very full hearts, we’re sharing that the time has come to close our shop doors as we begin the next chapter of our lives — traveling the globe.

To mark this transition, our Retirement Liquidation will begin
Saturday, January 10 at 11:00am. All merchandise will start at 30–40% off. The length of the liquidation — and discount levels — will be determined by inventory availability.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting us and cheering us on over the last 5½ years. Truly, you have no idea how much laughter, joy, and love you’ve brought into our lives. This community has meant everything to us.

A very special thank you to Jenny & Matt for being such amazing “roommates” over the past year as well as Sam and Isabel, who have been with us since our very first year, and to Christy, whom many of you may not have seen — but who expertly managed all the behind-the-scenes chaos (aka the backroom messes I created).

While our adventure began on a beach in Maui (aka Secret Beach or SB 😉) 25 years ago today, we celebrated our anniversary on the beach in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. Together, we’ve raised two amazing and beautiful children, Joshua and Makena (plus our bonus child, Ana), shared life with our fur baby Zeus, and been endlessly entertained by our feline crew—Mama Kitty, Georgie, Mr. Cuddles, Harley, and Addy.

I truly cannot imagine life without this man by my side. Here’s to the next chapter—traveling the globe, embracing retirement, and one day spoiling some sweet grandchildren.
