Wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and memorable Independence Day as America hits its semiquincentennial (250 years strong since 1776).

It’s a great moment to celebrate the audacious experiment in liberty, self-government, and the pursuit of happiness that launched one of history’s most dynamic civilizations. Fireworks, friends, family, good food, and a little reflection on how far we’ve come — and how much further we can go.

Stay safe out there, enjoy the celebrations, and here’s to many more years of building, exploring, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

The ACA is pleased to announce that Col (Ret) John Alvarez, a lifetime member of our organization, and his daughter Lisette will be at the Hurlburt Field BX on 2 Jul 26 and at the Eglin Exchange Complex on 3 and 4 Jul 26 for the first stops of their book signing tour. Buy your copy and have it signed by the authors. You must have base access to attend these events.

Air Commandos, there is another site on Facebook urging folks to get their Air Commando Alumni T-shirts before they are gone. Again, this site is in no way associated with the ACA. This time I was able to comment to that effect. If you see my comment please exercise caution!
