The violence that has besieged our nation's Capitol must end. This is not how a civil society reacts to disagreements. I am very disappointed and saddened to see the actions that have taken place. Peaceful protest is free speech, what we have seen today has gone far beyond peaceful behavior and descended into mob rule. Pray for our nation, that we may humble ourselves before the Creator who's wisdom is far beyond our own.

People upset over proposed wind farm in Ingham County 10/27/2020

There is a large proposed wind farm located in several townships in the 67th district. We must ask ourselves, what is the total cost of ownership (TCO). Not only dollars and cents, but environmentally, and ecologically. I am a proponent of green energy when it is affordable, provides value, and doesn't negatively affect our citizens. A few questions that spring to mind for me are; Will the wind turbines be manufactured in the US from domestic sources or from overseas where manufacturing regulations are less strenuous and allow greater emissions in addition to the energy required to transport the equipment across the globe? Is there sufficient air flow to generate a consistent stream of electrical power from the turbines to justify the investment of money, time, and energy? Are my constituents in favor of the disruption to the nature beauty, ecosystems, and aesthetics of the region? This is not exhaustive, but just a few questions that come to my mind as I process such a large undertaking as the one proposed. Please let me know what you think!

I am asking for your vote in the November 3rd general election for State Representative. As a servant leader, government accountability starts from day one and is built on the foundation of honesty, integrity, and transparency. I believe in empowering individuals and families to prosper by breaking down barriers to success and fueling the entrepreneurial spirit. It would be an honor to serve the wonderful communities that make up the 67th district.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer vetoes bill targeting voter fraud, cites confusion 10/19/2020

Voters in Michigan are rightly concerned about election integrity this year. Two bills that passed with broad bi-partisan support in the house and senate were vetoed by Governor Whitmer this week. I am very disappointed to see this and would like to see the legislature override the veto. I will work to ensure we have safe and fair elections in our state.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer vetoes bill targeting voter fraud, cites confusion Whitmer said voter fraud is already a crime, and the legislation would "muddy the waters" and "likely confuse voters" about what conduct is criminal.

There has been a lot of talk nationally, both in the media and by former Vice President Biden regarding vaccine mandates. Democrats and Republicans alike are hesitant to take a new vaccine and we deserve a choice to view the data, assess the risk, and make our own decisions. A national or state level vaccine mandate would set a dangerous precedent.
