Friday's smoke levels are still quite high across the area... A warm front moves through later today which starts to impact the wind direction and should help reduce the smoke later (and any thunderstorms that might develop will do more.)

It also cranks up the humidity too!

Fortunately a stronger cold front sweeps the heat, humidity, and likely most of the smoke out on Saturday (along with another chance for thunderstorms.) There's hope that Sunday will be a nice day!

In the meantime - continue to stay inside as much as possible especially if you have existing breathing issues.

{UPDATED POSTS ABOVE}

Today's going to be the HOTTEST in the midst of a few hot days... Temperatures climb into the 90s, and when you factor in the mugginess it will "feel" like 100+ to your body! Take it as slow as you can when outdoors. Thankfully there will be a nice breeze, and the humidity won't be as high as our holiday heat wave, but it's still going to get up there.

If you are unable to keep cool on your own, PLEASE reach out to 211 for assistance. If it turns into a medical issue, don't delay in calling 911 as heat is one of the biggest weather killers...
