Burning a beeswax candle can actually purify the air in your room as opposed to contaminating it when burning paraffin/soy/palm wax candles!

In the air contains billions of electrically charged particles called positive ions. Positive Ions help us absorb and utilize oxygen, and therefore affect our lives and well being in a powerful way. The positive ions in the air can affect our mood, energy and health. Too many positive ions make us feel bad and they are loaded with toxic particles and allergens that are drawn to them and suspended in the air.

Negative ions, on the other hand, balance the air by increasing the ratio of negative ions to positive ions, the ideal and necessary scenario for clean air.

YES! I cant stress it enough the importance of choosing a CLEAN burning candle! Many people think soy candles are "clean" however a small amount of petroleum is still required in the refining process to make them. On top of all the things listed above. Please do your research! Those cheap candles that smell extra strong are not worth you and your families health. Sometimes the extra money upfront for a good quality candle is worth it!
