Previous hotel/cleaning experience is not needed, but it will be a plus and deciding factor if there is one.

Job Responsibilities

-They will be train and should know all department of Housekeeping
-Will be required to help Laundry Lady fold towels if needed
-Will be required to help other Housekeepers clean rooms if needed
-Will need to communicate with front desk and update them as rooms get ready
-Other Duties may come along as a task on non busy days

Pay will be with industry average $10 per hour with small bonus every 3 months depends on the performance.

Will get average of 30-35 hrs a week. Will be required to work Sundays (Can have them off as long as you can work it out with your fellow workers).

We are a upper-mid scale hotel in Matthews, NC who is looking for Part time weekend Hotel Front Desk Job. Fixed hours of 3PM-11PM (Sat-Sun). Our team here believes in a friendly environment and work together. This job will be a walk in the park for someone who needs a fun job as we make our work area fun.
Previous hotel experience is not needed, but it will be a plus and deciding factor if there is one. We are a Choice Hotels Brand (ChoiceAdvantage System).

Job Responsibilities

* Room Assignments, Changes, and Issues
* Checks guests into and out of the hotel in an accurate, speedy, and courteous manner.
* Efficiently handles all payments received whether they are cash, credit card, checks, or traveler's checks. Balances/verifies all monetary transactions in the appropriate accounts.
* Offers guests assistance whenever possible.
* Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
* Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
* Ensures that the lobby and front desk area is clean, organized, visually appealing, and well stocked with all necessary supplies.
* Reports any maintenance, security, or safety issues to the appropriate staff.
* Other duties as assigned by managers.

Pay will be with industry average or above ($10.50 (training) and up once ready) with small bonus every 3 months based on experience and performance of the employee and the hotel.

Again, this will be a relaxing front desk job as we believe in making a fun work environment.
